Quarterly Magazine: Issue 11, Becoming

BECOMING

Art as a process of transformation, migration, growth and redefinition

This issue explores becoming not as a final result, but as an ongoing process. A state of movement. A space between who we were and who we are becoming as artists.

We focus on practices shaped by transition: migration, shifts in identity, changes in artistic language, new cultural contexts, and conscious evolution of one’s career and voice.

BECOMING brings together international artists whose work reflects growth, resilience, and redefinition — whether subtle or radical, internal or visible in form.

About the Issue

Art is not static. Neither is the artist.

BECOMING is about:

  • transformation as a creative force
  • the artist in motion – geographically, conceptually, emotionally
  • redefining one’s practice and professional narrative
  • art created in transition, not after it

This issue is especially relevant for artists building international careers, portfolio visibility, and long-term professional positioning, including visa-focused artistic paths.
