Article
Based on the United Nations target of SDG#3.4 wellness – “By 2030, reduce by one-third premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being.”

The creation of Art community with contents related to positive peace of Institute of Economics Peace (IEP – 8 pillars of Positive Peace: Well-functioning Government, Sound Business Environment, Equitable Distribution of Resources, Acceptance of the Rights of Others, Good Relations with Neighbors, Free Flow of Information, High Levels of Human Capital, and Low Levels of Corruption), wellness and happiness via co-creation with the techniques of responsible sharing, e.g. Chinese calligraphy and expressive drawing (ED) and Innovations in Digital Products Passport (DPP) with concept of blockchain as a service to address the balance of solidarity and serenity, happiness and wellness, Entrepreneurial Education and ArtTechBusiness Education.

An ecosystem of the above needs to have passionate content creators to address the issues with workable solutions, like the ecosystem design of the female artist community convened by Prof. Shirley Yeung with consideration of SDG/ ESG/ Positive Peace.

Market Demand for Female Artists – SDG x ESG Implementation for Social Impacts.
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in demand for the work of female artists who integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their creative processes. Prof. Shirley Yeung MC provides solid works through her artwork, upcycled apparel products, and educational initiatives that promote sustainability, social equity, and community engagement.

There is an increasing recognition among stakeholders on the measurements of social impacts on SDG x ESG related projects. This shift is aligned with global trends, reflecting the values of harmony, empathy, tolerance and the principles of i5 of UNPRME.

The call for diversity in the arts sector is more pronounced than ever. Female artists with academic research outputs for social impact are rarely found in the market. Prof. Yeung has gained visibility and support from various stakeholders in the past 10 years, e.g. ICENECDEV UN Global Compact member, ESGSCHOOLHK, Genesis-one, and Wacoal Hong Kong.
